Q: when will the nissan gt-r go on sale in the USA and how much will it cost?
A: Nissan is saying probably February 2009. The base price is $69,850, and the premium package will be $71,900. The “super-silver” paint job will be another $3,000. I see there will be a $360 charge for the ipod converter and another $280 for the GT-R floor mats.
Q: It’s already June 2008, is the Nissan GT-R on sale at your local dealership yet?
Have you seen one on the road lately? Have you bought one yet? They say the GT-R will be on sale here in the U.S. in June 2008; but lately I haven’t heard any news about it yet.
A: I work at a Nissan dealer. Haven’t had any yet, but there are two that have been ordered: the dealer group owner, and some guy that came in driving a Lotus Exige. Those are the only two firm orders I know of, but I’m kept out of the loop back in parts.

Best place to try you can drive the R32 and the R33 spec 1 in Canada atm as it has reached the right import age.The new GT-R iam sure isn’t out yet in Canada.
As for Rudy H,let down by the cars.Myself had owned two GTS-T versions and they are amazing machines with great power so GTR level your talking scary machines ,these cars are famous world over for a reason.

A: One word “Quality!” The Nissan is no doubt a very good car.
But I would have to go for the Porsche. They have had 40+ years to get the design right! Build quality,good engineering,exellent handling etc.
A Porsche will always get better residual resale values.

A: If its a TRUE GT-R about $85,000-$100,000 for one thats already legalized.

I know the GT-R is comeing to america with a V-6 twin turbo this time a dual clutch transmition two drive shafts and a rear mounted transmition. with all wheel drive. duel exost. its a car that we only dream of that is actually comeing to america. If I only had $70,000. it would be mine.

A: The Evo, STI, GT-R, and Audi R8 are already in America.
The Lexus LF-A will come to America. The next Toyota Supra, which will compete with the Nissan 350z, will come to America.
The new Hyundai Tiburon, or Genesis Coupe will come here and also compete with 350z and Supra.

A: I cannot imagine a 4 door version of this car will come out past 4 door GT-R models never came out.
The skyline models more recently like the R32 R33 and R34 versions had the non turbo and single turbo models as 2 and 4 doors as well as a station wagon version being the stagea.
The Skyline is out now in the US as the G35 and the G37 and in Japan as the 350gt 370gt etc etc versions which offer a 4 door version.

A: I will get to drive 3 GTR’s all of them sold. Speculators and rich people who want the USA spec 3.3 second to 60 miles an hour super car. As far as I know all 1,600 cars have been sold. And if you want A new GTR it might be to late. But watch E-Bay and back of car magizines you will find a GTR for around $100,000. Over 450 hp all wheel drive but how are we going to put gas into it?

Im trying to choose between converting a 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-T into a 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R or converting a 2000 Ford Mustang Cobra into a 2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R. (Im only converting the exterior and interior not the drivetrain) Also does anyone know if www.sky-kit.com is a good company to purchase a Skyline from, that where im considering getting the Skyline GT-T from, its the 1999 for $24,000 with 60,000 kms under JDM stock.
A: The Mustang would be my choice because of the tons of available parts and the massive torque potential.
