Q: Is the oncoming Nissan GT-R fastest car under 100k?
3.5 sec 0-60! is that fastest speed for under 100k?
A: It sure does look like it’s gonna ROCK the Autoworld and have most auto companies putting in some overtime!
Nissan Power! LOL
Q: Will they stop making the Nissan GT-R anytime soon?
Im wondering if it will still be available in the next 10-15 years
A: they probably will until they release another better model, the past has shown us that nissan only debuts this model every few years. the current GT-R is the 13-14 generation?? i know for sure the skyline name has been around since the early 60’s and the most recognizable body style came out in 87.
Q: who like nissan skyline GT-R R33?
who like Nissan Skyline GT-R R33?
i have R33 and i got from japan
A: Great car however there are only a few thousand ever made. Rare and hard to find parts in the USA.
Q: When is the 2009 Nissan gt-r coming out?
I need to know when it will be in the market in the united states??
A: It is already in the U.S. market, they started taking orders on it back in February and the first GT-R delivered was on July 7. Pretty much all 2009 models are spoken for, however alot of GT-Rs that dealerships are selling are vehicles that the dealerships placed fake orders on just to get the cars in. Some dealerships even took customers orders on the car, then when the car arrived they basically told the customer “sorry, but we’re auctioning off your car to the highest bidder”. Sad really. While mine sat on the showroom floor, the GM received numerous offers to buy it (for significantly more than I paid for it).
Some tips if you’re looking to buy:
- I read somewhere Titanium is a 2009 color only, and that Super Silver is a first year color only as well (silver might be offered in the future, but not the special Super Silver high-luster-lots-of-clearcoats silver)
- I also read somewhere that about 60% of 2010 models are already spoken for
- Most dealerships are placing high markups on this car, but some are coming down on markups
- I have a letter from Nissan telling me that I will be receiving an exclusive GT-R Owner’s Book and Certificate of Ownership that authenticates production in initial year. Those two items are for 2009 owners only (although they might end up giving those to future model owners as well, just not intial production certificates)
And please do not believe everything you read from the master tech above me, because most of it is false. He may be a GT-R master tech, but I am an enthusiast and have been following this car since it was conceived. First of all, there are more than 1,400 2009 model GT-R’s. There are 2,400 2009 models allotted to the U.S., 1,500 a year to follow in 2010 and beyond. This car is just fine as a daily driver, depending on your tolerance. If you realize that it is a race car, then you can get past the fact that it is not the smoothest ride. I happen to think it is a fairly smooth highway ride. That’s like people that complain that the Corvette rides rough. It’s not a luxury vehicle people, it’s a performance machine. The prices John Paul is giving on service is dependent upon the dealership. My dealership here in Houston is not nearly that expensive. Some dealerships are even charging customers for services that are supposed to be complimentary for the GT-R owner.
Q: Where Can I Buy A 2009 Nissan GT-R?
I Live In Chicago, Illinois I Have 150,000 Dollars Where Can I Find One Of These Cars?
A: We have 3 incoming and one person on the waiting list. Supposedly 75k and we are marking up 35k. Owner gets it, I don’t
We get it in, 1st person gets a call, they have 72 hours to come in, test drive and sign the papers, they don’t want, they get their $5000 back. . After 72 hours we will go to person #2.
Know some delaers in Cali are marking up 50k, and have heard of dealers somewhere in Ohio selling for sticker, but all speculation as noone has the cars yet
Good Luck!
Q: would you buy a Nissan GT-R or a Lotus Exige S?
Lotus Exige S at approx. 65k
GT-R at 80k
A: lotus exige. i love lotus’ so id have to say that. theyre beautiful cars
Q: PORSCHE 911 v NISSAN SKLINE GT-r 35 =)?
Which do you think is better, the mind blowing Porsche 911 turbo or the super powerfull Nissan skyline GT-R.I’m stuck between a very tricky decision.Help me please
A: There is no comparison here. The Porsche 911 vs. the Datsun Skyline? Why not the Porsche 911 vs. the Honda Civic or a Subaru? The Skyline may look sporty (I saw my first one just yesterday and thought it was a Subaru at first, honestly) to some, but under the pretty-boy body and fat tires lies a Sentra… the same Sentra that sells for $14k everywhere in America. This car is engineered for looks not for performance. The 911 is a classic and will always be a classic. The Skyline will be a worthless and long forgotten experiment in just a few years.
Q: driving in my E92 m3 coupe and lost to a nissan GT-R!!!!?
i was suprised that i lost to a nissan! we both were rolling at 30mph, and we both floored it. the nissan was already way ahead of me and it seemed like i had no chance!
i was really suprised…. maybe i was not driving properly because i should have atleast stayed with the nissan!
A: Not at all…
GTRs are way faster than M3s

Q: what would win in a race a Nissan Gt-R or a Corvette ZR1?
A: The new ZR1 is much faster than the GT-R in any race. A stock ZR1 with a good driver should be able to get in the 10’s 1/4 mile, as a guy by the name of ranger (i think he’s on youtube) has run 10.90’s with a stock ZO6, which has about 120 less hp than the ZR1. Most magazines have the ZO6 from anywhere between 11.50 and 11.90. The GTR should be around the mid to high 11’s 1/4 mile.
I have also seen a video of a stock ZO6 beating a stock GTR from a roll and from a dig, and it beat it pretty badly. The GTR is a beast, but it is not the world beater it was made out to be. If it can’t handle the ZO6 then in no way does it want any of the ZR1. It will be a brutal beatdown.
The ZR1 should win, however, as it has 140 more hp and is much lighter.
The first poster is probably seeing the times for the C4 ZR1, made in the early 90’s with a 405 hp 5.7L V8, the C6 ZR1 is a much different animal with a 6.2L 620hp supercharged mill.
Q: does the 2010 nissan gt-r burnsout with it’s real wheels?
and it’s all wheel drive and i have seen a video but it burnsout with it’s real wheels
A: It would if you went through the trouble of disconnecting the AWD making it RWD. Otherwise no it wouldn’t.
Q: Are AWD cars good in the snow? Cars like a Dodge Stealth, Nissan GT-R and so on.?
Dumb question but interested in the answers!
A: AWD performance cars are a little better in snow but not a lot.
When I lived in Chicago, I had a gf who owned a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. She had a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks for winter driving (sounds like a cool chick, right?). That car was pretty awful in the snow, and that’s on plowed and salted roads. I had an AWD SUV with all season tires and it was a lot better, so we drove that most of the time.
Tires make a real big diff in snow. All those people with AWD and all season tires can get stuck just as easy as 2WD cars with all season’s.
Q: Which car would you rather buy? Nissan Gt-R or Porsche Carrera 4s Cabr?
I live in toronto… rush hour traffic is crazy… and goin at high speed is 120 kph on the highway the most w/o getting a ticket… and as a paramedic, i cant afford tickets…
Hey df…
Who says paramedics can afford a 100K car? maybe you cant…
A: I suppose it is personal choice,as well as which spec suits you.
So my personal choice would be the GT-R is looks great and has alot to offer as with GTR models of the past these always come with advanced technology and have always been great cars since the first GTR models came out.
No one can knock twhat the GT-R has to offer as there are a mass of reviews from top people saying such good things about these cars. And they are now winning races on the track.
The transmission issue,if you pull off all the time altering traction then it is an issue, but why would anyone do this all the time,if you pull of in full power in any car all the time it would case some issues,Nissan are upgrading there boxes and atm Nismo have an upgrade for them.
Any excellent review which is fun also.

Q: Does anybody selling a Nissan GT-R?
I’m looking to buy a gt-r for my personal use but not willing to pay more than $70,000– does anybody know any sources? It needs to be a legit car and in working order, minor repairs needed are acceptable.
A: You won’t find a GT-R anywhere for anything even close to sticker price. If you really want one, you’ll have to pay a high premium price for it. Good luck.
Q: What’s the best car-care product for my Nissan Skyline GT-R?
A: i have a sc300 or Soarer from Japan and I use Shining Monkey wax, my car is a 1998 and shiney and smooth like it was an 2006… thats my vote – I have used megaurs and others for years… i tried Shining Monkey and now, ill never use anything else, that stuff is priced right and works amazing, better than even professional stuff i’ve tried
